Kristi Woloszyn (wool-oh-zin) is a registered architect in both Maine and Vermont. She is a member of the National Council for Architecture Registration Board (NCARB) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). In addition, Kristi is a LEED-Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

Kristi started her architectural business in 2005. Kristi has found a niche is dealing with projects facing zoning challenges including existing non-conforming houses and lots, projects requiring special Department of Environmental Protection Approval (DEP), and ocean front homes. She credits her abilities in this area in part to her experience serving on the Town of Wells Board of Appeals for one year and the Planning Board for five years.

Kristi received her LEED AP accreditation in 2009 and practices green design whenever possible. The recently completed Markoff House (hyper link coming soon) is heated with a geothermal heat pump and also has radiant heat in lightweight concrete floors.

Kristi has practiced architectural design in Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. She now resides in southern Maine with her husband and two sons. The Woloszyn Family hopes to complete their new green home, designed by Kristi, in the fall of 2009.
